Our Story

Rapid Fingerprints, LLC was founded by Mark VonWupperfeld in 2022 to meet a growing need for reliable and convenient fingerprinting services. While running my local real estate brokerage, my agents and I needed fingerprinting for license renewals, which meant a 30-minute drive north to the nearest provider. The long trek and subpar service sparked an idea. With my supportive wife Kate by my side, I decided to bring fingerprinting services to our community. I jumped in headfirst, ordering equipment online—only to discover I’d bought the wrong items and completely missed the necessary software!

After months of research, trial and error, and navigating regulatory hurdles, we got it right. During the licensing process, the local police department reached out, and through those discussions, I uncovered a broader demand for accessible fingerprinting in our area. That moment ignited my passion to expand Rapid Fingerprints’ services to the public.

Today, Rapid Fingerprints offers a full range of services, including Live Scan Fingerprinting, FD-258 Fingerprint Cards, ATF/EFT Files, Passport Photos, and Notary Services. In February 2025, we proudly opened our first franchise location in Orem, Utah, at Jones CPA—a major milestone for us! We’re thrilled to now offer franchise opportunities, bringing our proven model to business owners nationwide who want to enhance their services and communities.

Our mission is simple: deliver fast, professional, and friendly service with industry expertise and a commitment to quality. Rapid Fingerprints is locally owned and operated, and as we grow, we’re dedicated to ensuring every franchise is led by people who care deeply about their communities. We aim to support local employers, employees, volunteers, landlords, and others in meeting their regulatory and identification needs with ease and confidence.
